The story of the Trade Union Council of South Africa. This is not a definitive history, but a commemorative work to mark its silver jubilee year (1979), with the accent placed on the major developments in the Council's relative short, but eventful history.

Glossy pictorial dust jacket. Various scuffs and marks, chips and creasing to top and bottom edges. Water damage to front fold in. Orange paper covered boards with black insignia to front and black text to spine. Neatly inked inscription on front endpaper claiming the volume as a gift from the author. Tape residue below inscription. Typewritten note on rear pastedown giving local (Isle of Wight) information about the author. Both undated. Marks and foxing to edges of text block, which is otherwise clean and tight and free from annotation and marginalia.
