Dick Barton - Special Agent, the iconic radio thriller serial, was broadcast on the BBC Light programme between 7 October 1946 and 30 March 1951. It was aired in 15-minute episodes at 6.45 each weekday evening. The book features nine separate stories.

Pictorial hardboard cover with blue cloth spine - no jacket. Spine ripped at top and edges rubbed. Previous owner's name and address on front end page. Inked notes on contents page (see photograph). Spine intact. Illustrated in black and white throughout with coloured frontispiece. Some slight browning on pages and brown spots on several pages towards the back of the book. Heavy browning on back page. Back page torn at top by spine.
