This trilogy of stories by author Daniele Vare describe a world and a mentality that have passed away; they are said to serve as a mirror to a past civilisation. The stories include, 'The Maker of Heavenly Trousers'; 'The Gate of Happy Sparrows'; and 'The Temple of Costly Experience'. 

Omnibus edition. First published in 1954; second edition, 1957.

Good condition. No highlights or other notes. Dust jacket unclipped. Dust jacket has some minor tears at base of spine, and a small section is missing at the spine top. Small area of discolouration on top of spine of blue cloth board, otherwise clean and unmarked. Some age browning on part of both end papers. Spine tight, text clean and bright for age.
