In Sickness and in Health

£9.99

Product description

To understand men and women in the part as they apprehend, endure, and seek to cope with disease and pain is to understand them deeply.  Such experiences are profoundly significant tot the historical actors themselves.  Moreover they elicit attitudes on a fascinating range of themes: the connection of mind and body, the meaning of suffering and death, the individual's relation to God, the role of science.
The dust jacket shows signs of wear, being slightly stained on the inside and a little torn and scuffed along the edges.  The grey board cover is clean, but there is some fading along the edges and the top right corner is bumped.  There is some marking on the front and back end pages, but inside the pages are fresh, clean and bright.
