Debrett's Peerage, Baronetage, Knightage, and Companionage.

£45.00

Product description

Comprises information concerning Persons bearing Hereditary or Courtesy Titles, Privy Councillors, Knights, Companions of the Various Orders, and the Collateral Branches of Peers and Baronets.

This substantial book is in good condition, and although there are paper breaks in the front and rear end papers, the binding is sound. The red boards, with elaborate gilt decoration, have areas of dust soiling and the colour has faded on the spine; corners and spine ends are bumped and there are some bumping marks along bevelled edges; spine end cloth has surface wear and crease marks. A small number of light foxing spots appear in the margins and upper edges of early leaves, and a few at the rear. The penultimate leaf in the Royal Warrant Holders appendix is loose.

On the rear of the front free end paper a former owner has written a list of names who relate to Capt, E M Fall who is shown in the Companionage section on page 1487.
