Second Impression 1965.
The Story of David Stirling and the S.A.S. Regiment
- There is very slight bumping and rubbing to the covers.  The spine is moderately creased.  A name is written at the top of the half-title page.  Inside, the pages are clean and the binding is sound.

2.  The Tunnel by Eric Williams (231 pages)
Fourth Impression, 1964
Companion book to The Wooden Horse.
- There is very slight bumping to the corners of the covers.  There is very mild creasing to the spine.  A name is written a the top of the half-title page.  Inside, the pages are clean and the binding is sound.

3.  Return Ticket by Anthony Deane-Drummond (192 pages)
Third Impression, 1969
Interesting story of a group of British soldiers dropped into Italy, their adventures, capture and escape into Switzerland.
- The book looks unread.  There is very, very slight bumping to the covers of the book.  The spine is not creased.  A name is written at the top of the half-title page.  Inside, the pages are clean and the binding is sound.

4.  1940 by Laurence Thompson (252 pages)
Fontana First Edition 1968.
A reconstruction of the many events of this particular year.  Contains a number of black-and-white photographs.
-  The book looks unread. The covers and spine are in excellent condition with no creasing.  There is a name written at the top of the half-title page.  Inside, the pages are clean and the binding is sound.
