£95.00

Product description

Please note: The text of this book is in German.

Of around 100 million soldiers who fought against each other in World War II, around 35 million (i.e. a third) were taken prisoner. Renowned historians from Europe and the USA shed light on the issue of captivity during and after the Second World War. An overview of the captivity in the Soviet Union and the "Third Reich" as well as the fate of prisoners of war of the Wehrmacht in the hands of the Western Allies is given. An extensive bibliography can be found in the appendix.

This book is in excellent condition throughout.
