It includes almost 250 poems by 49 poets, including the editor. The main body of this text contains nearly 250 poems by 49 poets (pp. 1-438). The poems are in Gaelic, with the exception of Sunny Tiree, written in 1900 by A. V. Christie, who was a visitor to Tiree, and Veni, Vidi, Vici written by Rev. John MacLean, D.D. from Cornaig in Tiree, both of which are in English.
