Round About Bradford

£19.99

Product description

Described as a series of sketches (descriptive and semi-historical) this book is focused on the villages and embryo towns within a radius of six miles of Bradford. It was first published in 1876. The dust jacket is somewhat worn and a little torn, especially on the top edges and there is some marking and fading. It features a charming black and white illustration of Old Ivegate. The dark blue hard cover is in very good condition. Pages are very clean though there is some marking to the upper page edges. The front free end paper includes a rather witty personal inscription. Attached, and in good condition, is a map of Bradford in 1800.
