The companion volume to David Parry's 'Monastic Century', this book documents the history of St. Augustine's Abbey School, Ramsgate, between 1865 and 1965, including its transfer to a college, adaptations to wartime conditions and its growth and development in the mid-20th Century. Includes some black and white photographic plates. Hardback book in red cloth cover with gold embossed writing.  In good condition, with only two small surface marks to back cover. Slight yellowing of pages. Binding is tight. There are some small handwritten notes in ink on three pages but these do not detract from the text.
