A Biography of the Duchess of Windsor. Inside the front cover, attached to the free endpaper, there is an envelope containing a letter, addressed to the editor of the Times newspaper, from a Briton living in America in 1936 discussing the relationship between Mrs Simpson and the then King.

Blue cloth covered boards with gilt text to heavily faded spine. Fading to edges of boards, superficial scuffs, marks and dents. Neatly inked inscription to front pastedown. Endpapers discoloured. Spotting to first and last few leaves. Lightly but evenly tanned.
