Published posthumously by the author, R S Sansome's family. Long after the war in Europe had been won the Forgotten Army pushed on through India and Burma to clear the Malay Peninsula of Japanese forces. Air support was vital and could not have been reliably maintained without the RAF Repair and Salvage Units. The author draws on his own personal experiences and those of his friends, as well as exhaustive research. Appendices on: Maintenance Units, Airfields, Aircraft Names, Squadrons, Commanding Officers. Illustrated with black & white photographs.

The covers are lightly marked and a bit creased, with a slight skew to the spine. The pages are clean with a sound binding. Acceptable condition.
