The Isles. Japanese translation

WAS £50.00 £30.00

Product description

ALL IN JAPANESE.

A unique history of the British Isles. Mr. Davies is not trying to present any new history, but does want to tackle what he sees as historiographical biases in the treatment of the history of Britain and Ireland. Ten chapters span the past of the archipelago from prehistory till the dismantling of the British Empire. The chapters each begin with a specific story to illustrate each period, which is described as a 'snapshot'. Thanks Wikipedia.

A translation into Japanese. Retains the small b/w illustrations, plus a few colour pages of flags. All in Japanese, except for the titles of sources for quotes, which are in English.

A very clean copy.
