The Village On The Hill

£8.99

Product description

This item is a locally produced, but professionally printed book about the history of Colerne Village. It does not profess to cover every aspect of the history but does cover many topics from the stone age to the 1970's. This book has been produced as part of the 800th anniversary celebration of the Parish church. The book includes text, black and white photographs and line drawings.

This item is in very good condition for a paperback of its age. The original white covers have become cream due to discolouration by the sun, although all text and images are bright. There is a single pen mark on the front cover near the top edge measuring 3 cm and a small pen mark measuring 1 cm on the top of the spine. The lower bottom corner shows slight signs of de-lamination, but this has to be closely studied to be noticed. All the internal pages are in brilliant condition and show no signs of discolouration or foxing.

This book is ideal for anyone with an interest in the history of Colerne.
