The Making of West Side Story

£14.99 Out Of Stock

Product description

Each book in 'The Great Broadway Musicals Series' takes you behind the scenes of the original production of these classics of Broadway, composers, song writers and actors.

"With the thoroughness of a trained academic, Garebian has condensed a wide variety of sources (stars' biographies, news clippings and books about Broadway) into a readable attractive paperback." - Theatrum Magazine

When West Side Story opened in 1957, it marked the crowning achievement of a collaboration involving four of Broadway's most successful off-stage personalities. Songwriters Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim, choreographer Jerome Robbins, and playwright Arthur Lautents combined talents to produce one of the best known musicals of all time.

Norwich Oxfam is exceptionally large for an Oxfam Shop and we sell a large array of homeware as well as all the usual goods that you would associate with Oxfam shops. We are situated on Magdalen Street, a bustling thoroughfare near to the Cathedral at the heart of a vibrant community and close to the centre of the East Anglian City of Norwich. It is easy to get to, as many of the bus routes (including Park & Ride) go past the shop. There are at least three large car parks and a local shopping centre within walking distance.
