Hardcover with indigo boards, black spine, gilt lettering, marbled-effect endpapers, and a small picture of an ancient monument on the front. Published by Agatha Christie Ltd/Planet Three Publishing Network. Undated, early 2000s (first published 1977).
This volume contains three plays (NOT the novels with the same titles) which do not appear in many editions of Agatha Christie's works and are therefore very collectable.
The three plays are:
- Appointment with Death, first performed in 1945
- And Then There Were None, first performed under its original title in 1943
- The Hollow, first performed in 1952.
All of these plays were adapted by Agatha Christie herself from her own novels. They will all be interesting to fans of the books, especially, perhaps, 'And Then There Were None' because the ending differs from the novel's ending. Christie considered that the final scenes of this novel as written would not work on the stage.
Hardback, no dust jacket (this series was published without them). Like new.
The series as a whole was published with ISSN 014730022.
