Arnold's Poetical Works

£14.99

Product description

Published by Collins' Clear-Type Press, London, this hardback edition is not dated. However it is likely to be late 1910s to early 1920s, given the style and comparative copies. There are two inscriptions by previous owners on the endpapers: the first is dated 1929 and the second 1975. Bound in the publisher's original navy cloth covers, with gilt lettering and elaborate design to the spine and upper panel, this edition is in good, used condition overall. There is no dustjacket. The spine is faded, worn and bumped, head and foot. The page block is yellowing and the edges are dusty but otherwise the text appears to be clean, intact and free from annotations.

Oxfam Bookshop Hexham

We relocated in January 2016 to larger premises and are now able to offer a wider range of books and music (you can come and check out your musical choices in our listening booth and also find out a lot more about Oxfam's work.). We have a new local interest section, more space for history and have extended our craft and arts offer.  We also sell cards, fair trade food and ethical cleaning and beauty products.

Hexham is a market town situated in the beautiful Tyne Valley - the ideal stopping off point before exploring Hadrian's Wall, Chesters, Housesteads and the Temple of Mithras at Carrawburgh.
