King's College Budo, A Centenary History 1906-2006

£34.99

Product description

First edition, published in 2006 by Fountain Publishers, Kampala.

Traces the development and evolution of one of Uganda's premier secondary schools through the first 100 years of its existence. The book celebrates the successes of the Budo 'project' and soberly dissects the intricate problems - administrative, social, economic , and political - that the school has had to grapple with over the years.

The author, Gordon P McGregor, a former teacher at the school, was a well-respected educationalist. We're proud to say Gordon was latterly a volunteer at our Witney Bookshop and this book was kindly donated to us from him.

In very good condition, clean and fresh with only light wear and indents to the glossy illustrated boards.
