With an eye on time: a look at how Dutch people spend their time.

Nederlandstalige editie. Uitstekende pagina's, lichte rand- en kaft slijtage.

Like money, time can only be spent once. However, unlike money, everyone has exactly the same amount of time. However, there are differences in the handling of time. This report examines the question of how exactly time is spent by Dutch people. Based on data from the latest time-use survey (TBO 2011), it makes clear what Dutch people spend their time on and when they perform their tasks and activities. The emphasis is on the period 2006-2011, but attention is also paid to trends in the long-term use of time (1975-2005). The time spent on obligations (paid work, education, housekeeping and care tasks), personal time (including sleeping, eating and drinking), leisure time (media, social contacts, recreation and relaxation, social participation) and the travel time for all these activities. We also looked at working independently of place and time, and the influence of the internet and modern means of communication on daily life and the experience of time.

Dutch language edition.  Excellent pages, slight edge and cover wear.
