Ex library: has impressed stamp on front cover of Westminster Public Libraries, bookplate on inside of front cover, and small stamps on a few pages. Edges of pages are tanned, and one page is slightly torn; no foxing; pages are clean.

50 black-and-white photographic illustrations, and 8 maps (one of which folds out). In a pocket at the back a large 1:12,000 coloured map of Rome, with small tears and wear along one edge, and some well executed strengthening.
