Product description

All 24 episodes from the first season of the popular sitcom Friends (1994-2004). In 'The One Where it All Began', Rachel jilts her man at the altar and comes into the lives of the rest of the gang. In 'The One with the Sonogram at the End', Ross finds that his estranged lesbian wife is going to have his baby and bring it up with her new lover, while in 'The One with the Thumb', Phoebe discovers a human thumb in her can of pop. In 'The One with George Phanopolous', the girls spy on the sexy politician who lives across the street. In 'The One with the East German Laundry Detergent', Ross and Rachel bond at the laundrette. In 'The One with the Butt', Joey gets a role in a film as a double for Al Pacino's bum, while in 'The One with the Blackout', a power-cut throws Rachel together with a hunky Italian, and Chandler gets stuck in a cash-point lobby with a beautiful woman. In 'The One Where Nana Dies Twice', Ross and Monica go to the bedside of their dying Grandmother, who pulls a bit of a Lazarus act. 'The One Where the Underdog Gets Away' has Monica's Thanksgiving dinner go spectacularly wrong, while in 'The One with the Monkey', Ross and his monkey friend Marcel turn up at Monica's New Year's Eve party. 'The One with Mrs Bing' has Monica and Phoebe causing a traffic accident whilst Chandler's mum pays a visit. In 'The One with the Dozen Lasagnas', Rachel's Italian boyfriend makes a move on Phoebe, and Monica cooks a whole bunch of lasagne that she cannot shift. In 'The One with the Boobies', Rachel is caught with her guard, and everything else, down by Chandler. 'The One with the Candy Hearts' sees Valentine's Day become an occasion for exorcising past demons rather than celebrating new romances. Monica is job-interviewed by a drug-addled chef in 'The One with the Stoned Guy', whilst in 'The One with the Two Parts - Part One', Joey becomes attracted to Phoebe's twin sister. In 'The One with the Two Parts - Part Two', Monica and Rachel swap case notes over two eligible doctors (ER's George Clooney and Noah Wyle). 'The One with the Poker' sees the girls seeking advice from a cardsharp aunt after the boys beat them in a game of poker. In 'The One Where the Monkey Gets Away', Rachel unwittingly releases Ross' beloved pet monkey into the wilds of the big city. 'The One with the Evil Orthodontist' finds Rachel suffering another self-inflicted trauma when she resumes relations with her ex-fiancé - who happens to be engaged to her best friend Mindy. In 'The One with the Fake Monica', the rather prim Monica is liberated by a new free-wheeling friend, whilst Ross' monkey also starts acting in a 'perkier' manner. 'The One with the Ick Factor' sees Ross' ex-wife go into labour, whilst Monica makes an unwelcome discovery about her new boyfriend. Ross' child is born in 'The One With the Birth', and in 'The One Where Rachel Finds Out', Rachel realises Ross wants to be more than just friends.
