Product description

Seven volumes of the Records of Buckinghamshire dating between 1945 - 1960. Paperbacks, all featuring black and white photographs and illustrations, and all with some yellowing of pages and light surface marks. In good condition for age. Volumes as follows:

2 x copies of Vol XV Part 5 (1945). Plain cover with printed text. Pages numbered 245-300.
Copy 1: Small tears to top and bottom of spine but binding is tight.
Copy 2: Cover is in good condition with only a little light wear to edges. Half of an ink stamp is visible on back cover. Some pages are untrimmed at the top. Binding is tight.

Vol XIV Part VI (1946)
Plain cover with printed text. Cover is in good condition, with a little scuffing to edges. Binding is tight but cover has partially come unglued and the first page is loose. Pages in good condition but untrimmed at the top. Pages numbered 301-373.

Centenary Number 1947
Cover features colour print of the Buckinghamshire coat of arms. In good condition, only very light wear to spine edges. Includes a number of advertisements from the period. Has a loose membership form to join the society. 80 pages.

Volume XV Part 2 (1948)
Cover features colour print of the Buckinghamshire coat of arms. In good condition overall, but with a 1.5cm tear to top of spine. Binding is tight. Has full colour fold-out  photographic illustration. Pages numbered 81-152.

Volume XV Part 3 (1949)
Cover features colour print of the Buckinghamshire coat of arms. In good condition overall, but with a 5mm tear to front cover edge and some brown speckling. A little wear to top of spine. Binding is tight. Pages numbered 153-230.

Volume XVI Part 5 (1960)
Cover features colour print of the Buckinghamshire coat of arms. In good condition overall, but with a cup ring and faint liquid mark and some brown speckling. Binding is tight. Includes several fold-out black and white illustrations. Has a loose letter detailing the society's summer outing for 1961 with sign-up slip and loose index insert. Pages numbered 307-376.
