The book aims to display clearly the characteristic features of the architecture of each country by comparing buildings of each period and by giving due prominence to the various influences which have contributed to the formation of particular styles. These are presented systematically with the help of a 'Tree of Architecture'.
This copy is in very good condition throughout. The dark blue covers have gold guilt lettering and are in good condition with minimal signs of wear. There is foxing to the page edges and flyleaf.
