Special vehicles were built (with tank treads) by Citroën to overcome the challenges of this extraordinary trans-Sahara journey. Complete coverage was recorded on route as a diary that is the basis of this book. Contains over 50 black and white photographs of this unusual expedition across the Sahara sands and a fold-out map with route indicated in red - all good and clean.
