The second half of the book deals with massacre and atrocity visited upon the Armenians in Turkey at the end of the nineteenth century. With fold-out map of the Ottoman Empire and B&W illustrations of some of the persons involved. This second edition was printed in 1896. There are some pencil underlinings in the text, and a previous owner has signed inside  front cover.
