Bricks and Tiles

£29.99

Product description

The book is in fair condition. The binding is sound with some moderate shelf wear.

The front cover sports two heavy, but thin black parallel lines towards the
right-hand edge, approx. 25mm in length. There is general air of use and a bit
grubby from use.

The spine is well worn, again a little grubby and with some light, thick marks from
use.

The back cover is grubby and some very thin white lines against the left-hand edge,
towards the bottom half.

The edges sport a few dents, and is generally foxed.

Throughout the volume, a previous owner has left workings out and scant notes for their
own projects. The pasted down and loose end paper at the end of the volume are
covered with these notes and sums. These pencil marks throughout are very
light. Some of the pages, against the edge, have been well-thumbed and there
are some dark marks.

'A study of the manufacture of bricks and tiles, based on works by Edward Dobson. Fourteenth edition. Illustrated throughout with numerous vignettes. Edward Dobson (1816/17 19 September 1908) was Provincial Engineer for the Canterbury Province from 1854 to 1868.'
