Half bound with black leather spine and corners, dark grey embossed boards. Leather corners are worn, spine is worn at the top and base and along the hinges, plus chipping at the top and base of the spine. Gilt titles and lines on the spine. Bothe front and back board have a small surface scuff. The endpapers are tanned, binding is tight, text is clean and unmarked. On page 397 there is a vertical 4cm tear in the margin near the edge. The author states 'It is not a mere formula book nor an ordinary student's text-book, but rather and aide-memoire for those who have passed through their elementary training, and are now in practice". A very comprehensive reference book.
