Colour lithograph, circa 1900, dissected and laid on waxed linen 740 mm x 1280 mm. 

Detailed plan of the City, showing parishes outlined in colour & railways both above or below ground. Good additional information, clearly named, for passages, factories, foundries, poultry markets, squares, mental institutions, churches & seaman chapels, schools, City institutions (financial, legal, livery) and so forth.

Previously folded into 18 squares (showing obvious longterm creases) and housed in blue cloth binding, gilt titled direct to front board. Ex-Constitutional Club library with fine bookplate designed by Herbert Percy Horne c1890.

Map clean with some minor wear to creases.

The City firm of Collingridge first printed this map 1885. All editions scarce.
