Hardback with red boards. With 26 illustrations and 3 maps. Published by Cambridge University Press in the Cambridge Archaeological and Ethnological Series. First edition, 1910.

Hardback, no dust jacket. Ex Norwich Public Library, whose rules on the front pastedown are a curiosity in themselves. The boards are rather battered, and it has various library stamps and marks. Binding is a little loose but holding. A map is tucked into a flap inside the back cover.

Rare in this original hardback edition.
