Green cloth with nice gilt design to centre and black peripheries. Darkened green spine strip with once-handsome gilt floral decor with the Burbidge name flowing past. Owner signature to paste down. Inner hinge line cracking. Pages tanned and rough cut.

Half the book is given over to an alphabetical listing of plants, with 200 line drawings.
