Elements of Surveying and Levelling by Charles Davies

£24.99

Product description

Davies' Elements of Surveying, first published in 1830, was designed as a text-book for the pupils of the U. S. Military Academy but was found to be of value to many other institutions and was therefore adapted to serve a wider market. This copy dates from 1874 and is bound in leather that is bumped along edges and corners, and along the spine some webbing is visible. The inside front end paper has a name in black and some faint pencil markings.
The subtly marbled text block edges are somewhat age toned, however all text is clear on clean pages, there are numerous clear b/w diagrams, charts and elegant formulae and the fold out diagrams at the end of the book are all in very good condition.
