Andrei Konchalovsky's article, which is a personal address of a grandson to a grandfather, precedes the album section.In the articles, Russian and foreign experts research the interaction between Petr Konchalovsky's oeuvre and the world art tendencies of the late 19th - early 20th centuries: from Cézannism to Fauvism, Primitivism, main trends of Russian Avant-garde. They analyse the thematic variety of his works as well as periods of the artist's interest in nature and subject, works and techniques of old masters: Rembrandt, Titian.
