Ladybird: The Silver Arrow, A Robin Hood Adventure

£9.99 Out Of Stock

Product description

This copy is a matte-finish hardback. It is undated, however, it does not have a ISBN number and priced in old money, so probably published circa 1968.

From the blurb (written by the author Max Kester)

"In spite of space-man and jet-pilots, I often think we can never beat the old heroes ; that is why I chosen to this story about someone who was my hero as a boy - Robin Hood. After all, there`s something about climbing trees, and bows and arrows, which never grows old! These stories (in a different form) were first broadcast in 1940, and have been repeated in Children`s Hour both on sound and television. But then they didn't have the splendid pictures in this book. I`m writing some more Robin Hood adventures for you - so look out for them!"

Excellent pages with some edge-wear. It does have a name stamp on the front flyleaf. The spine is well worn and the corners are rounded.
