Les Fleurs Du Mal

£150.00

Product description

Large tome being a collection of several book of poetry written in French.

Thin card boards are covered in loose fitting plastic that has protected them from much damage, there are some tears and small pieces missing from the spine area of the plastic, but still largely performs its task.

Book details on the front in black and red text.

Some details are reproduced on the spine in now faded red and black print.

The page edges are untrimmed, to such an extent that some have are still connected along one edge.

This deckle edge, and some foxing which only affects the edges of the pages, gives the book an tatty appearance, but overall it is in very good condition. To maintain the original condition of the binding and hinges we did not open pages to take pictures except where they had already been opened.

The binding is in good order giving the appearance that the book has had little use. This idea is reinforced by the fact that several pages are still connected together at the edges.

There are no inscriptions.

Suit collector.
