(NEW) Art in Mind - An artist's journey exploring the edges of perception.

£7.99 Out Of Stock

Product description

Luke Jerram (born 1974) is a British installation artist. He creates sculptures, large installations, and live arts projects.

With many of his artworks in permanent collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Wellcome Collection in London, he also tours his art installations to art festivals and museums worldwide.

Art in Mind traces Luke Jerram's research and practice during the last ten years, focusing on his investigations and experiments into the creation of artwork for the edges of perception. Rather than a concise chronological history of his work, Art in Mind is an accessible discourse that through anecdote, observation and journal provides a fresh and intimate insight of the artist and his process. Unveiling his own dreams and visions in works such as Retinal Memory Volume and Sky Orchestra, the artist goes on to explore dream space itself as a territory for making art in the Dream Director.

Art in Mind includes contributions by:
- Gina Czarnecki - Artist
- Dr. Chris Alford - Sleep Psychologist, University of West of England
- Dan Jones - Composer
- Amanda McDonald Crowley - Executive Director, Eyebeam, New York City
- Dr. Tom Rice - Sleep Anthropologist
- Juliet Rix - Journalist, The Times
