No Surrender - Robert Harbinson

£24.99

Product description

Robert Harbinson is one of the pen names of Robert Harbinson Bryans, who was the author of many popular travel and autobiographical works.

This is the second Faber and Faber edition of this acclaimed autobiography, produced in 1966. The jacket is in very good condition; it has a few light soiling marks on the back cover and a couple of small edge bumps. The book itself is in near-fine condition with minor marks on the upper and lower text block edges and light tanning lines on the free end papers.

"He is on all planes at once; humorous, detailed and objective as a Breugel village scene; quietly indignant over injustices practised by the toffs; puzzled, exploratory, expectant as a growing boy....  He writes as one with a true sense of poetry." - 'The Times'.
