Product description

Kniha o životě T.G.Masaryka, r.1947, 392 stran.

Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk (česky: [ˈtomaːʃ ˈɡarɪk ˈmasarɪk]), někdy angažovaný Thomas Masaryk (7. března 1850 - 14. září 1937), byl československý politik, státník, sociolog a filozof. Do roku 1914 prosazoval reformu rakousko-uherské monarchie do federálního státu. S pomocí spojeneckých mocností získal Masarykovu nezávislost pro Československou republiku, protože světová válka skončila v roce 1918. Založil Československo, byl jeho prvním prezidentem a někteří Češi ho nazývají „prezidentem Liberátorem“ (Prezident Osvoboditel).

Vynikající stránky, některé hrany a desky opotřebení.

Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk (Czech: [ˈtomaːʃ ˈɡarɪk ˈmasarɪk]), sometimes anglicised Thomas Masaryk (7 March 1850 – 14 September 1937), was a Czechoslovak politician, statesman, sociologist and philosopher. Until 1914, he advocated reforming the Austro-Hungarian monarchy into a federal state. With the help of the Allied powers, Masaryk gained independence for a Czechoslovak republic as World War I ended in 1918. He founded Czechoslovakia, was its first president, and is called the "President Liberator" (Prezident Osvoboditel) by some Czechs.

Excellent pages, some edge and board wear.
