Old Toffer's Book of Consequential Dogs (SIGNED LIMITED EDITION PROOF (uncorrected))

£14.99 Out Of Stock

Product description

T. S Eliot's "Old Possum's Practical Cats" finally gets the companion volume that Eliot had envisaged, written by master of poetry Christopher Reid and illustrated by Elliot Elam.

Christopher John Reid, FRSL (b. 1949) is a Hong Kong-born British poet, essayist, cartoonist, and writer. In January 2010 he won the 2009 Costa Book Award for "A Scattering", written as a tribute to his late wife, the actress Lucinda Gane.  Besides winning the poetry category, Reid became the first poet to take the overall Costa Book of the Year since Seamus Heaney in 1999.

Our book is in 'as new condition' apart from a little deformity possibly due to damp conditions.   A stamp on the title page states "Signed Limited Edition Proof 61 of 75 Of This Dog" with the signatures of both poet and illustrator above it, as photographed. All pages are clean and crisp.

Age Range: 5 years upward
