The book does not have a dust jacket. The book has blue cloth boards and there is bumping to the top and bottom of the spine and the corners. There is fading to the spine and back board however the lettering on the spine is still clear. There is an owner's inscription on the first free page. There is a small supplier's label inside the back cover (Chas. Thurman & Sons Carlisle). The hinges are tight and firm. and the pages are clean. There is some foxing to the page edges, inside the front and back covers and to the last two pages.
