Arie Bar Lev's photographs, impressive and flaming, are absolute esthetic and emotional experiences, from which the eternal song of Nature, of the works of Creation, break through and rise.
Sublime passages selected with exquisite taste and impeccable logic by the editor of this album, Shushan Khouri, add spirit while firing the imagination.
I only hope that this luxurious album will make us love the desert even more, as well as its splendid wild and unparalleled beauty.
Those of us here in the land of the Negev, where Jewish history began, must reveal to all and sundry the rare, latent beauty of this part of the world, which is expressed so powerfully in these superb color photographs.
The book has only very slight imperfections, with minor creases present around the covers. It is worth noting that the layout of this book is somewhat atypical; it is read upside-down and from right to left (from the blank cover.) The book is annotated in English and 3 different languages, possibly French, Spanish, and Arabic. Despite these oddities, the book is generally in brilliant condition, with all of the full-colour photographs being of excellent quality.
