Four volumes (1-4) from this very authoratitive series.

Black buckram covered boards blind stamped with the outline and texture to minic a half-bound leather.

The book deatils are on the spine in still bright gilt printing.

Very little sign of wear, just a few marks on the boards, but far less than is normal for a book of this age.

The hinges and bindings are in excellent condition. Although the books have been opened thay do not appear to have had a lot of use.

All page ends are tinted dark blue.

There are no inscriptions, markings or foxing.

Volumes 2 & 3 have sectional model cutaways on the front pastedown that are all in fine condtion.

This is a remarkably good set of book that would suit a collector.
