Presidential Art Collection Complete Set 3 Volumes

£135.00

Product description

Published in 2014 by Presidential Publications, these lovely volumes were commissioned by President Abdullah Gül (11th President of Turkey). The wish was to collect together all the works of art in the Presidential Collection into an illustrated catalogue as well as evaluate the works for conservation/historical importance.
These sumptuously illustrated books contain many beautiful examples of Turkish paintings, photography, ceramics, sculpture and calligraphy through the ages (although mainly drawing from Turkish artists of the 19th and 20th century).
Only damage/flaw are a couple of smudges on the cover of volume two (please see photos 4 and 5) - otherwise the books are in beautiful condition, tightly bound with woven grey boards.
