Robinson Crusoe

£125.00

Product description

This 1896 edition of Daniel Defoe's seminal 1719 work Robinson Crusoe is stunning. The text is accompanied by over 120 beautiful and detailed pictures by the renowned illustrator Walter Paget. This book is a must-have for any collection.

Book appears to have been re-covered. Front cover has completely come away from rest of book. Spine and back cover have partially come away from rest of book. Book shows signs of aging throughout, including significant wear to spine and minor foxing/tanning on some pages. Otherwise, the text and illustrations are both clean and bright. Some words are written in archaic English. Please be aware that there are some instances of outdated language, stereotypes, and illustrations throughout. Also, please note there are a few images of people being shot/hanged.
