Steam Around Bristol

£9.99

Product description

Used, very good condition, hard cover, published 2017.
In this new, all colour book, local railway expert Gerry Nichols explores the expanse of lines and trains using the rich material of the prolific photographer the late Mark Warburton. Contained within is a veritable feast of steam engines and early diesels, some on main lines, some on branch lines, some static and others in shed, as well as unique pictures that Mark Warburton's role as duty clerk in the Port of Bristol enabled him to record in and around the City, Avonmouth and Portishead Docks. Using a vast majority of new and unpublished photographs and supplemented by detailed and informative captions, this volume will find a worthy place among a wide audience.
The book is in very good condition with just some slight bumping to the top and bottom of the spine. Otherwise, the binding is sound, the spine and corners are good and the pages are all clean and unmarked.
