Hardback book in good condition for its age. Marbled boards and page edges with half leather spine and corners. Bumping and rubbing to edges of boards and to spine head and tail. Front hinge cracked but board still attached. Rubbing on raised bands on spine. Owner's signature on reverse of front endpaper. Intermittent foxing.

Located in the centre of the historic market town, we are open seven days a week. You will find a wide and interesting range of stock, including a great selection of children's books, popular and classical music on vinyl and CD, vintage Penguins and other paperbacks, and quirky and collectable items. Our stock is selected by knowledgeable volunteers, catering for both general readers and specialists. We are happy to check our backroom stock for wanted items and also offer a request service. Our themed windows are usually changed every two weeks, with our December Christmas displays offering a diverse and unusual range of gift ideas.

We welcome your donations, which can be brought to the rear of the building (via the Lower Kings Road Car Park). Please contact us before bringing large quantities to discuss arrangements.
