Various contributors.Bound editions of a The Girl's Own Paper and Woman's Magazine for young ladies. . Covers topics such as art, needlework and cookery and includes short stories and serials.  Illustrated with black and white photographs and line drawings and some colour plates.
Hardback - blue cloth cover with coloured oval inset image and decorative printing in gold and green. Coloured title page and frontispiece with tissue cover.
In good condition for age, pages good, yellowing end papers. Owner's name on reverse of flyleaf. Shelf wear to edges of cover and  corners and spine. Binding slightly loose at boards but holding - mull becoming visible inside front cover. Tear to hinge at head of spine and smaller damaged areas of hinge lower down on the back.
