Hardback book, 9.25 inches x 12 inches, 432 pages, 1.35 kg weight, ex-library, front & back bords and spine covered in dark blue cloth with titles in gold to spine, blue endpapers show the list or manifest of alien passengers on SS Rochambeau in 1915 in white text. Dust jacket in cream paper with titles in blue & gold to front and spine, list of artist-immigrants to back of d/j in blue. Text block has library name rubber stamped along long side, otherwise unmarked. Water stain 1 by 6 inches long to inner front blue endpaper has left blue stain on adjacent fly title page, outer back endpaper has library badge glued in bottom corner, d/j has publisher's name on spine partly erased where library shelf location plate removed. Otherwise unmarked throughout. [Published for the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden exhibition, 20th May to 20th October, 1976].

Oxfam Shop Southampton

We have a dedicated bridal suite within the Oxfam's Shirley Southampton shop, with good quality fashionable bridal wear and accessories, new and second-hand, usually with a choice of over 200 dresses. Our beautiful wedding dresses can be taken home on the day of purchase. We also have another suite, our Prom Room, with a range of evening dresses, bridesmaid dresses, groom outfits, veils and lots of other wedding accessories.  Selected bridal items are available to order online.

Trying your first wedding gown is by appointment only by booking HERE or you can also book appointments on our Facebook page on this link: https://www.facebook.com/OxfamBridalSouthampton/.  During your one hour, free appointment, our stylist volunteer will help you choose and try on dresses. Usually you have time to try 5-6 dresses, but if there's time you can try as many as you like. Please help us to maintain our dresses by avoiding wearing heavy make-up. We currently have appointments available on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10.00 am until 4.00 pm.  In addition we sometimes have appointments available on Friday afternoons, dependent upon volunteer availability.
