Title page has no publication date or publisher but states that this is, 'A Fairy Extravaganza by J R Planche Esq., freely done into a story in verse by Mr Henry Dever and illustrated in a series of tableax by Mr Alfred Dever and the Misses and Masters Shuter. The scenery designed and painted by Mr Alfred Dever. The costumes, from reliable authorities, produced by anyone who could lend a hand - or borrow a hint - while in the course of the proceeding, it will be seen, that Mr Shuter - who has charge of the gas - will shed considerable light on the subject.'
Please see images which are of the actual book. Book is in Very Good condition, binding sound and pages, edged with red are clean and unmarked with the exception of the Title page which is tanned. Title page has a small illustration on the reverse. The pages have been sewn into the book. There are one or two very small black dots on some of the pages but these appear to have been there from date of printing (the date of which we are unsure). There is slight wear to the top and bottom of the spine, to the length of the spine and to the corners of the covers. There are one or two small black dots on the back cover at the top. The Tableaux has fourteen acts and finishes with Vive La Rain, in compliment to the season.
