Published by New Cavendish Books in 1977. Rare illustrated autobiography of Terence Cuneo (1907-1996) an English painter famous for his scenes of railways, horses and military action, and the official artist for the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. This album is the first retrospective view of Cuneo's paintings and drawings, of which over 370 are here illustrated, with some 170 in full colour.

Includes a letter written and signed by Terence Cuneo.

Cream leather effect hardcover with gilt lettering to front cover and spine, in a card slipcase. Green colour to head of block. Illustrated end papers. Binding and block in very good condition with small ding to boards near to fore edge and slight bump to tail of spine.

The free edges and corners of the slipcase are bumped and creased, and the bottom edge is taped shut. Very small piece missing from base at fore edge.

This is a heavy item and will be dispatched by courier.
