The Rod, the Root, and the Flower

£45.00

Product description

The book has sage green cloth-covered boards and spine. The boards have an indented line running around the periphery of the front and rear covers. The spine has the book title and the author's and the publisher's names in gilt script. The book has a little bumping to the corners and a little shelf wear, especially at the spine. The hinges are in good condition. The pages are well cut at the top edge which has a gilted finish. The pages are not well cut at the side and bottom edges and have no gilt finish. The front endpapers have various pencilled marks and a printed sticker of (presumably) a previous owner. This sticker has ink writing over it, which probably says "withdrawn". The page preceding the title page has a faded stamp on it which is probably referring to a religious institution.
